…at the end of the day, we would love to do a vehicle like that but it all comes down to the business case. How many can we sell?

Will the New Ranger Come Raptor-fied?
Raptor. Raptor. Raptor. We love the Raptor around here quite a bit. But in addition to love the pre-runner F-150 Raptor, we’re also big fans of the Ford Ranger. We’re excited about the possibility of a new Ranger being made for the United States market, but now we’re doubly-excited. According to Ford Performance, they’d really like to make a Raptor version of the Ranger.
Apparently there’s a dealership in New Zealand that has been converting Rangers in to Raptor versions. Of course, like any dealer installed group of accessories, they’re charging extra for the privilege. But this dealership has caught the attention of Ford and their engineers, and they’ve apparently talked about building a Raptor Ranger.
While Ford Performance’s Jamal Hameedi wouldn’t confirm the discussion, but did mention this little nugget when asked;
Remember kids, the last-generation Raptor was a strong seller all the way up to being cancelled, and we’re sure the new truck will be just as popular. But there might be some people have have been priced out of the Raptor. Would a Ranger version of the hot truck be just what the doctor ordered? We’ll have to wait and see.
